NASA CHOOSES "DAVI" MACHINES FOR THE THIRD TIME

NASA CHOOSES

The JPL (Let Propulsion Laboratory) is the most technologically advanced "laboratory" in the world and is located in Pasadena, California, where NASA builds machines, devices, accessories; it develops and tests new ideas, discoveries and prototypes to finally realize its innovative products.

After a difficult selection, JPL chosed the high performance of Davi's Italian technology, a member of the Aerospazio Emilia-Romagna IR4I Cluster, with its technologically advanced machine that allows the bending of plates for round plates up to 2,000 mm wide and up to 10 mm thick, in steel, titanium, high-strength aluminum.

The machine, a 4-roll DAVI hydraulic controlled CNC, is equipped with an innovative hydraulic deflection compensation device to form JPL cylinders and cones with maximum precision.

Furthermore, the "brain" of the system is the new "iRoll-Computer-CNC" (developed and patented by DAVI), which allows the JPL Laboratory to obtain assisted programs in the "Automatic-Drive" concept developed by car manufacturers.

Once again Nasa relies on Davi to build its spacecraft, special aircraft, special helicopters, gondolas, boosters, rovers, telescopes, drills and many other parts of the machines launched for space exploration.
