An historic pricelessviolin, belonged to Niccolò Paganini and a strain sensor that can measure very precisely the mechanical stress, made by the Italian Deltatech. These two objects, apparently very far apart, are the protagonists of a survey conducted by the University of Florence, which is designed to evaluate the effect of mechanical load on the conservation of historical musical instruments.
